Teacher Resources

Welcome to your workshop “Urban Safari’:Animals in the City, where the unexpected neighbours aren’t just the people next door. Join us for some fun and creativity as we create an animal character and place them in a challenging urban environments around the world.

The workshop, designed for primary school teachers of students aged 9-11, is based on the book ‘Pimlicat and the Midnight Explorers.’ This engaging children’s novel features a thrilling adventure where three courageous kids explore the London Underground after hours to rescue a cat trapped in the train tunnels.

It is not necessary to have finished the book to do the workshop, once they have begun the book or have knowledge of the book that will be enough to dive right in.

“The children were enthralled by the subject matter. They were hugely encouraged to participate. It was a joy to witness.
I would say book Ann Marie on the spot.”
